Dates, how to book:
Business benefits of NLP
----------------------------------------------------------
For those of you that have already decided that you want to complete a practitioners course and haven't justified it yet, we've produced some of the benefits of attending by job function. This is useful in two ways - firstly in justifying the seminar (s) to yourself (or your boss) and secondly the more you know what you want out of the seminar the more you are likely to achieve out of it.
You'll get personal benefits as well, but keep that as a bonus
NLP Business Benefits:
John Grinder in London 3-6th April

We're holding open our Bandler CD offer until Tuesday 4th February - but you need to book by then, following the simple instructions on our site.

Peter Freeth is producing a newsletter relating to his delightful Change Magic site. Sign up and you get a special offer for one of his courses. The site is well worth a look too!

Who's in charge here? ----------------------------------------------------------
Joseph Yeager PhD has kindly agreed to let us have the occasional article on business NLP (or similar). This is about personality types. Joseph ran one of the first NLP institutes in the US focusing on business.
Who's in charge here:
Elephant's can dance ----------------------------------------------------------
Yes I am recommending a book about IBM! Who says elephants can't dance by Louis V. Gerstner JR is a sort of modeling book on how to change companies. You may or may not agree with what he did at IBM, or that his perception fits the reality - but the book provides an interesting map on how to change culture and an interesting backdrop of how ICT companies are changing.

ALS system - some healthy competition
----------------------------------------------------------
This applies to those of you that use the Accenture ALS system to book training. Firstly decide which is the best NLP training for you. If you've chosen us then these are just a few of the reasons for asking your training co-ordinator or Accenture HR to book direct with us.
Our practitioner training is 20% cheaper (saving your training budget) Our practitioner seminars are two days shorter (saving your time) You do not have to do a basic communications course first (saving your training budget and your time) Our accreditation certificates are signed by Richard Bandler and myself (Wouldn't you want your hard earned certificate to be signed by one of the founders of NLP?) And because we regularly attend Richard's (and other top trainers courses) you know you are getting the most up to date training (NLP has moved forward a lot over the last 10 years with the development of DHE and NHR)
Glossary of terms continued - Outcomes
----------------------------------------------------------
For those that up to now have had some difficulty in remembering terms I'm including one a month. Do not be concerned if they don't make sense yet. They will do.
Outcomes - Goals or desired states that a person aspires to achieve
I find one of the most satisfying aspects of NLP is to help people (enjoyably) explore what they really want.
A good outcome is:Positive (that is something you want rather than you want to avoid)
Under your control (aquiring the skills to get a new job is under your control - actually getting a specific job may not be)
You can imagine achieving it in at least three senses (eg you can see, hear and feel what it would be like to achieve your outcome - and maybe smell and taste it too!)
It's ecological (Getting it will do you good)
And sometimes the best question is to simply ask people what they want!
