This is one of my favorite courses, we have two places left! If you're coming joining instructions are below.

Joining instructions:

John Grinder review
----------------------------------------------------------

I was lucky enough to spend 4 days with John Grinder while he was in London recently. As you're probably aware he co-founded NLP with Richard Bandler. You can read some of my impressions below. Not surprisingly he's good!

John Grinder review:

Richard Bandler in Dublin - How to lead a happy life!

----------------------------------------------------------

Richard has a two day course in Dublin on the subject of "30 years of NLP - How to have a happy life" on the 7-8th June. If you are unable to make it I'll review it in the July newsletter. If you come I'll buy you a pint...

30 years of NLP link:

Steve Gilligan's trance camp in San Diego

----------------------------------------------------------

I couln't help booking up for the first week of Steve's Trance Camp on the
7-11th July. In 'The structure of magic 2' John and Richard describe Steve as 'One of the world's most effective hypnotists' and today has a superb reputation as an Erickson hypnotherapist. I'm attending with Ariene Cap who is coming over to the UK to co-train with me on our hynotic master class in October, so it gives us a chance to bring together some new ideas.

Steve's website:

John La Valle
----------------------------------------------------------

John is also one of the very best trainers and has recently updated his training schedule. Well worth a look.

John La Valle's schedule:

Jonathan Altfeld in Manchester

----------------------------------------------------------

Jonathan Altfeld's coming to Manchester to present his 'knowledge engineering' course with Andy Smith.

This is recommended for anyone who wants to improve their modelling skills and has the bonus of being very good value for the level of training.

Knowledge engineering:

I always like it when people try new ideas. This is a new club for business
people who like golf and networking

Glossary of terms continued - Rapport

----------------------------------------------------------

For those that up to now have had some difficulty in remembering NLP terms I'm including one a month. Don't be concerned if they don't make sense yet.

Rapport - The presence of trust, harmony and cooperation in a relationship.

In NLP this is normally achieved by adjusting some aspect of your behaviour to be similar to some aspects of another's behaviour. This may include your body posture, body movement, voice quality or breathing rate.

When you've achieved rapport with an individual you can more easily lead them.

A good way of understanding rapport better is:  when you meet someone the first time and get on really well with them, spend just a few seconds noticeing what's going on.

A-Z of NLP terms:
