Presenting Impact
----------------------------------------------------------
We still have two places left of our presenting impact seminar on the 2-4th
August. Peter Freeth and I have been developing this over the last few months
and I'm expecting it to be a really special. Please ring if you would like
further details. It could seriously improve your career prospects.
Presenting impact press release:
Presenting magically
----------------------------------------------------------
While researching for 'presenting impact' I read David Shephard and Tad James
book on 'Presenting Magically' and I recommend it highly. It isn't the most
advanced from a NLP point of view; however it has some very practical approaches
and exercises to help improve presentations. Some NLP experience is probably
needed to get the best out of it.

Richard Bandler in London

I've put my name down for Personal Enhancement on the 17-19th September. This is
a chance to spend three quality days with Richard with a small group of
delegates who are interested in personal development and change.
Personal Enhancement:
Tony Robbins in London
----------------------------------------------------------
Tony's book 'Awaken the Giant Within' introduced me to NLP; (or rather to NAC,
his version); and in his own way he's influenced PPI's trainings. I'm not
attending this but appreciate for some it's a very good starting point for a
life adventure. (And a good starting point for some of our courses.)
You can listen to Tony on the following link.
Listen to Tony Robbins!:
John Grinder in London
----------------------------------------------------------
John is running a seminar on NLP and coaching on the 26-30th November. I'm
particularly looking forward to this. NLP has always been a superb basis for
coaching and John has some really good corporate experience.
NLP Coaching:
Liam's adventure in China
----------------------------------------------------------
Liam flew out to China this morning on his way to the the Shaolin Temple in
Siping City. If he likes it; he plans to stay there a year to develop his
martial arts skills.
He has a website which he intends to update with his adventures.

Glossary of NLP terms continued - Behaviour
----------------------------------------------------------
To make it easier to understand NLP terms I'm including one a month; they are
easier to understand than they may at first seem.
Robert Dilts defined behaviour as the specific physical actions and reactions
through which we interact with people and environment around us.
Peter Honey, not NLP but still useful, defines behaviour as any overt, or
obvious action includes everything we say, as well as all non- verbal
movements.
One of the main benefits of NLP training is to increase behavioural flexibility,
so that you have more choice as to how you respond in any situation.
Three NLP pre-suppositions (useful beliefs) specifically include the word
behaviour:
The positive worth of an individual is held constant, while the value and
appropriateness of internal or external behaviour is questioned
There is a positive intention motivating every behaviour, and a context in which
every behaviour has value
Feedback vs. Failure All results and behaviours are achievements, whether they
are desired outcomes for a given task/context or not.
Worth holding on to.
