Learning from speed seduction ----------------------------------------------------------
During every seminar we leave a selection of the best NLP, sales, leadership and other business books for delegates to borrow over the two or three days.
One of the books is Ross Jeffrey's book on 'Speed seduction', and someone will always pick it up and read it from cover to cover.
While (putting it mildly) it's doesn't suit everyone's taste or ethics it's a very good example of showing how to apply NLP techniques, particularly attitude, language patterns and storytelling.

Hypnosis in Business ----------------------------------------------------------
I've been pleasantly surprised in being asked to run sessions on the use of hypnosis in business; including being invited to speak at a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) AGM and dinner.
Developing hypnotic and language skills is a genuine way to fine tune and develop your communication and intuitive skills. We've released a news release on the topic. The release also links to a Doug O'Brien CD on the top ten Ericksonian hypnotic language patterns that I thoroughly recommend. The investment is £30 including VAT and postage.
NLP News:
Coaching Tip - Being fearless ----------------------------------------------------------
As you're probably aware NLP is an excellent bases for coaching; we're now pleased to bring you a coaching 'tip' every month. They may or may not be NLP related.
The second is "Being Fearless" again by Paul Lemberg.

Anyone for Mexico? ----------------------------------------------------------
I've been looking at Richard's schedule over the next few months and suggest you look at 'Integrating Change and adventures in NHR' in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It's from the 9th-13th February and the seminar investment is $1840. An ecenomy return flight from the UK is under £500.
It's being run by three of the top NLP trainers Richard Bandler, John La Valle and Gabriel Guerrero.
Puerto Vallarta is on the pacific coast and has its own airport. It is pretty much like being in paradise so there isn't much you need to know.....
Anyone interested?

Glossary of terms continued - Deep structure ----------------------------------------------------------
To make it easier to understand NLP terms I'm including one a month; they are easier to understand than they may at first seem!
Deep structure is the sensory maps (both conscious and unconscious) that people use to organise and guide their behaviour.
Between deep structure and surface structure (e.g. speech) we distort, delete and generalise. In NLP we use questions from the meta-model to check on distortions and generalisations and recover some of the lost information from deletions.
